Don’t consider me a professional breeder. Instead, call me a “Dachshund Fancier” cause I’m real SUCKER for dogs. Been that way all my life. My favorite is the Miniature Dachshund breed, several of which I’ve owned over many years, and grown more and more in love with.

My favorite variety is the long-haired variety, in rare colors like Creme, and Black. I have enjoyed parenting the short-hair variety; and long-hair.
To me, all of them regardless of appearance are the most beautiful creatures God put on earth… with their long noses, long graceful bodies, big chests, and short, “Queen Anne” Legs.

I have had the joy of raising and parenting several dachshunds two girls Lucy and Opal, and seven baby boys who were successfully adopted.
I always fed my Dachshund puppies Eukanuba puppy chow and plain drinking water. This brand of puppy chow ensured that they were always very frisky and active.

They are the best companions an old girl like me can have around the house.
Miniature Dachshunds made great pets for me. They are fun with kids, adorable snugglers, and effective hunters!
